The Australian Savate Homepage was originally conceived in 1996. It’s purpose is to provide general information on Savate and its associated combative disciplines and reintroduce to a modern generation a source of westen combat heritage they might not be aware of. With the support of individuals from around the world, the Australian Savate Homepge provides informative essays, historical plates and photos, animated sequences, recommended links and contacts.

 

The Australian Savate Federation Inc.

The Australian Savate Federation Inc (ASF Inc) is the nation’s official representative body to the Federation Internationale de Savate (FIS) – the art’s world governing organization.   The goal of the ASFInc  includes promoting  Savate within an honest democratic group of individuals with the intention of providing training in the sport, self-defence and weaponry disciplines of Savate and not to indoctrinate any one syllabus. The ASF Inc looks forward to creating strong Savate and friendship links throughout Australia and neighbouring countries and with the assistance of the FIS, aim to organize regional, state and national competition at all levels.
