Some news for people interested in savate
Savate instructor Cédric Vilella is currently holding group classes in savate –French kickboxing. Cédric’s savate club is located at the
Woolloomooloo/ City of Sydney PCYC
51 Cathedral street, Woolloomooloo 2011
Classes are held on Tues & Thurs afternoon.
Cédric is also available to give private and weekend classes- by appointment only.
What to wear for savate training –
- Training shirt
- wrestling boots or runners
- track paints or shorts( no Thai shorts or bare feet please as this is savate training after all)
If there is enough people interested Cédric is looking to hold Sydney’s first savate competition in ‘assuat’ (light contact) format during June 2007.
If you’re interested in entering this proposed competition you must hold a blue glove ranking in savate. Ranking can be achieved by attending Cédric’s classes.
Cédric is Sydney’s only official savate coach as recognized by the ASF.
